Trying to ID a watch I saw in a Lifetime movie
Missing at 17 stars Tricia O'Kelley from The New Adventures of Old Christine and the movie Weather Girl. She's wearing an oversize gold chronograph with a thick white bezel and a double-locking clasp. I've had no luck finding a match on eBay, either by searching individual brands (Michael Kors, Invicta, etc.) or by doing searches for "oversize chronograph" and "boyfriend watch". Most oversize watches like this one don't have double-locking clasps, and usually if one has a plastic bezel, the center links of the band are also plastic. (Like the gold/white Relic that Tampa traffic reporter wears.)
This was about all I could find online from the movie itself:

And a Google Images search for her name only yielded a couple of good photos of her wearing that watch:

But I did find a few close-up photos of her wearing that watch on her Instagram page:

It looks like the band has been replaced, since the case of the watch doesn't appear to be gold. (Though I have no idea who would make replacement bands for oversize watches.) That would explain the double-locking clasp, and the center links of the band not being plastic like the bezel. But I'm still stumped as to what brand the watch is.

Bonus image of one of the other actresses in Missing at 17 with her watch visible:

(I have no idea what brand this one is either.)

Looking at this image:

... my first thought was "Swatch".

You're right; I did an eBay search for "swatch chronograph" and got a match:

Strange combination of a clear plastic case and an aluminum (according to another eBay listing) band, but it must have come that way from the factory since there are quite a few of these listed on eBay. I never would have thought the brand of her watch was Swatch since I thought Swatch only made plastic watches. Interesting that the battery access is still exactly the same as the Swatches one of my sisters bought in the 1980's.
According to the back of the case it's Swiss made, so I wonder if the quality would be better than Michael Kors?

They are indeed Swiss made, "Swatch" is actually a contraction of "Swiss Watch" but obviously they are made to be affordable. That said I would think the movements are very durable. I have never been of the impression that MK's are good quality watches since they are made in some factory in China and branded as whatever the customer wants.
